How to externally adjust the speed of a Delta frequency inverter?

Taking Delta’s common VFD-EL, MS300, C2000 series as examples, the wiring between the potentiometer and the inverter is as follows:

Potentiometer resistance is generally 5kΩ～10kΩ Rotating the potentiometer:

• Minimum → Close to 0Hz

• Middle → Middle frequency

• Maximum → Close to maximum frequency

 For example, if the maximum frequency is set to 50Hz, then: 0～10V ≈ 0～50Hz

Potentiometer selection: The five most common models on the market:
