Maximum Efficiency for Fans and Pumps — ACS510 Drives

The ACS510 is specifically optimized for the load characteristics of fans and pumps. It employs a quadratic V/f control algorithm and built-in flux optimization technology; by automatically reducing magnetic flux during light-load operation, it further minimizes no-load losses, achieving an average energy saving of 15%–30%.

Featuring a built-in variable-inductance reactor, the drive maintains Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) below 5% without the need for additional reactive power compensation equipment, thereby saving on electricity costs and reducing expenses associated with grid interference.

The ACS510 features dual independent built-in PID controllers: PID1 supports two sets of parameters, while PID2 can control an independent external valve, ensuring precise and stable constant-pressure water supply and constant-temperature ventilation. It supports SPFC multi-pump control, linking up to seven pumps or fans; a cyclic soft-start function sequentially modulates each unit to balance wear and extend service life. Additionally, a unique override mode enables automatic switching to full-speed operation during emergencies—such as fires—making it suitable for applications like tunnel ventilation and fire-fighting pumps.

And it features a built-in RS485 interface supporting the Modbus RTU protocol and offers optional fieldbus modules such as PROFINET and EtherCAT, enabling seamless integration with PLCs and host systems for remote monitoring, commissioning, and data acquisition. Designed for side-by-side mounting with convenient cable connections, it integrates easily into existing control systems via versatile I/O connections and plug-in options, allowing for simple retrofitting without requiring major modifications to the original equipment.
